When traveling on a huge airplane, finding room for a rolling case isn’t usually a problem, but those short, puddle jumper-style flights can be a whole different story. The Think Tank Airport Advantage is built to carry ample amounts of gear while still being compatible with smaller plane stowage.
The bag itself weighs just 5.9-pounds despite its roller states, and looks a bit like a big backpack on wheels. The interior compartment is customizable, of course, and fits a surprising amount of gear for a compact roller. It can carry a few DSLRs with full-size lenses, or up to a 200-400mm f/4 (detached) lens.
It’s a Think Tank bag, so it’s built to the company’s usual tough standards, including the weather-repellant coating, and 420D velocity nylon. It uses 80mm wheels with sealed bearings to keep quiet.
Ultimately, this looks like a super option for versatile travel, especially if you take a lot of shorter flights.
