As an abstract image, the shock of blue in the center and the accents of yellow and green give it more excitement than ou would get out of typical black pencils. Leaving the subject in the shadow and rendering her as a silhuoette takes some of the overt sexuality out of the photo and makes it more subtle, relying more on the shape and pose rather than flesh tones. "Originally I would have opted for a slow shutter to blur any water movement, but this time the ripples played a huge role in the foreground," Christopher writes about creating the image. "I dropped the aperture to 8 in order to keep a good depth of field while speeding the shutter enough to freeze the slow moving water."
