This Japanese Photography Studio Was Custom Built For Perfect Light
This is a natural light shooter's dream
I have a big window in my house and it throws amazing light a few times a day. During those times, I always wish I had a ton of windows all over the place. A Japanese photographer had that same thought, so he had a special photo studio designed and built for awesome illumination.
One side of the roof is cut off at a 45-degree angle to make a Rembrandt-style key light. The other side of the building has some large windows to act as a fill.
In the old days, 45-degree windows were a very common thing for photography studios since flash lighting wasn’t really an option.
