DIY stores like Home Depot have some an endless supply of things you can use to enhance your photography and equipment. Strobist David Hobby recently wrapped up “Home Depot Week”, an infinitely useful series on all the practical things you can pick up at the store. He found great backgrounds, light sources, and all sorts of hardware enhance your existing gear. He also pointed to David Greene’s video on how to turn some inexpensive lighting fixtures from Home Depot into fashion strip lighting. Amazing what a little ingenuity can do.
