Not Just Another Photo Gallery
It's not just good photos and a feel-good community for the Pentax faithful (and yes, of course, good promo for Pentax), but this gallery also has something for all us--regardless of what equipment we use. There is actual tech information about the shot. Not full EXIF data, but at least the camera and the lens that were used to create the image
I know what you’re thinking, “Does the world really need another photo gallery on the web?”
Actually, when you take a look at the new site from Pentax–www.pentaxphotogallery.com–I think you’ll agree that yes, the world needs this one. It debuts this afternoon (August 6).
It’s not just good photos and a feel-good community for the Pentax faithful (and yes, of course, good promo for Pentax), but this gallery also has something for all us–regardless of what equipment we use. This means you can get a good sense of what kind of gear you need to get a particular kind of shot. And if you’re in the market for a particular focal-length lens, you can search the images in the gallery by the lens (or camera) they were shot with. Obviously, a boon to Pentax shooters and shoppers, but also useful to gear-obsessives of all stripes. That’s a lot more than the fuzzy “facts” that are served up on most photo galleries.
