New Gear: Sigma 60mm f/2.8 DN For Interchangeable-Lens Compacts
Plus: New all-metal versions of the 30mm and 19mm f/2.8 DN mirrorless lenses
The 60mm f/2.8 DN lens is Sigma’s latest addition to its “Art” series of mirrorless glass. Available in Sony E-mount and Micro Four Thirds, the 60mm features an all-metal housing, a linear AF motor (for silent autofocusing during video capture), and a large, exaggerated focusing ring.
The 60mm is a 120mm equivalent on a Micro Four Thirds body and a 90mm equivalent on Sony E-mount. It offers a 7-blade diaphragm and a close-focusing distance of 50cm.
The “Art” series also includes the new all-metal versions of Sigma’s 30mm and 19mm f/2.8 DN mirrorless lenses (previously available, just not in a swanky all-metal housing).
