Canon announces two new PowerShot cameras, plus a RF 24-240mm F/4-6.3 IS zoom lens

Late last night Canon announced two new PowerShot cameras that are on the way and an RF 24-240mm F/4-6.3 IS USM lens. The G5X Mark II is a premium point and shoot designed with pros in mind, while the G7X Mark III has a number of features made for vloggers. The cameras are very similar spec wise, with some key differences in tactile design and streaming capabilities. Canon also used the day to announce the forthcoming RF 24-240mm F/4-6.3 IS USM lens—the very first telephoto lens designed for the new EOS R and EOS RP cameras.
